Okayama University is the national university with a history of 150 years. The University is internationally recognized for research and provides numerous fieldwork and laboratory opportunities for undergraduates. Located in the Western part of Japan, Okayama is known for its mild climate year-round, facing the Seto Inland Sea. Students enjoy both a low cost of living and high quality of life. The Discovery Program for Global Learners (GDP) is a 4-year undergraduate program that can be completed entirely in English. In addition, advanced speakers of Japanese can also take courses in Japanese and even conduct their senior projects in Japanese.
